Todd Carney debuted in the Australian NRL during the 2004 season at the age of 17, winning the Canberra Raiders’ ‘Rookie of the Year’ award.

In 2006 Todd was the Raiders’ leading try-scorer. His long range kicking game had also become well known by this stage.

Carney moved on to the Sydney Roosters in 2010 and had a standout year. He finished 2nd in overall point scoring and goal kicking totals. He won the prestigious Dally M Medal as the ‘Player of the Year’ in the NRL. He also won the Rugby League International Federations ‘International Player of the Year Award’.

During his exceptional playing career, Todd represented the NSW Blues in State of Origin, NSW Country and also pulled on the green and gold for Australia.

Todd Carney is one of the best goalkickers to ever lace up the boots. In the 2013 NRL season, Todd kicked 45 from 48 goals (93.8%), the best goal kicking percentage by any player since the inception of the NRL in 1998 (minimum of 40 goals)
